Description
Sundridge Search were engaged to source a National Support Engineer for a Swiss microscopy business that operate in the industrial microscopy market across the UK.
The role was successfully filled by Sundridge Search Ltd
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and training of software at customer sites, sometimes including integration of microscopes and cameras
- Technical consulting regarding system expansions and problem-solving
- Approximately 2-3 days per week: on-site customer support
- Approximately 2-3 days per week: preparing installations, responding to technical inquiries, remote support skills
Qualifications
- Technical education and professional experience as IT support or system technician
- Professional handling of PC hardware and Microsoft products like Windows, Office, SQL Server; knowledge of Oracle is advantageous.
- Experience with optical systems such as microscopes and cameras is beneficial
- Scripting skills beneficial
- Levent mother tongue English
